There are two resistances of 3 ohm and 5 ohm. Which of the resistances will be hotter,if the two resistances joined: (1) in series and .(2) in parallel are connected to a call?

Perimeter = 200cm

Length = 70cm

P=2(l+b) P=2l+2b

200=2×70+2b

∴2b=200−140

∴2b=60

b=30

Breadth = 30cm
