There are two rows of numbers. The resultant number
in each row is to be worked out separately based on
the following rules and the question below the rows of
numbers is to be answered. The operation of numbers
progress from left to right.
Rules:
If an odd number is followed by another composite
odd number, they are to be multiplied.
(11) If an even number is followed by an odd number,
they are to be added.
(iii) If an even number is followed by a number which
is the perfect square, the even number is to be
subtracted from the perfect square.
(iv) If an odd number is followed by a prime odd
number, the first number is to be divided by the
second number
(v) If an odd number is followed an even number,
the second one is to be subtracted from the first
one
If x is the resultant of the first row, what is the

Answer:
1strow⇒
6712 11
67−12 = 55 (rule (iv))
55÷11 = 5 (rule (v))
Since x is the resultant of first row, therefore, x=5.
2ndrow⇒
20 5 14 20+5 = 25 (rule (ii))
25−14 = 11 (rule (iv))
Hence, the resultant of 2nd row is 11.
