There are two satellites of different masses orbiting the same Orbit if the mass of a first satellite is 100kg and mass of other satellite is 200kg . Given that orbit speed of 1st satellite is 3.1 km/s then orbital speed of 2nd satillite is A) 8km/s B) 3.1km/s C) 11.2 km/s D) 4.1 km/s

your answer would be option B

cause speed of orbiting satellite is independent of mass (mass of satellite).

Vo=√(GM/R)

Vo=velocity of satellite

M=mass of earth

R=radius of earth

G=universal gravitation constant

clearly from the formula we can see that its independent of mass of satellite .
