there are two sphere of masses 50kg and 20kg. They are coming towards each other with velocity 10 m/s and 50m/s. If they combined after collision, then find the velocity of combined sphere after collision.​

We known that it is perfectly inelastic collision . Velocity after colloiding is

v = \frac{m1u1 + m2u2}{m1 +m2}

Here , m1 = 50kg

u1 = 10 m/s

m2 = 20 kg

u2 = -50m/s (Since both are moving towards eachother in opposite direction)

v=\frac{50 *10 + 20 * (-50) }{50 +20}v = \frac{500-1000}{70}v = -7.14 m/s
