There are two types of bags containing balls .Each bag of the longer size contains 4 more balls than the number of balls contained in 8 bags of the smaller Size.Each longer bag contains 100 balls. find the number of balls contained in the smaller bag

Let's say that long bag has 'x' balls

Small bag has 'y' balls

So, x= 4+8y (4 more balls than total balls in 8 bags totally)

We know, 100 balls are in each long bag.

So, 100=4+8y

8y=100-4

8y=96

y=96/8

y=12

Therefore, there are 12 balls in each small bag.
