There are two kinds of internal memory;

1. Ram(Random access memory): It keeps data for a temporary period of time only while the computer is in work,it carries programs and task in running time of a computer.It is called as non volatile memory.

2.Rom(Read only Memory): It keeps data or store permanently even after the shut down of the computer.It is Volatile memory.It is used to keep data in disk partition and the space of the the disk depends on the HDD of a computer.Example; Hard Disk.
