20 LITRES                                                               60 LITRES

IF BOTH SHARED EQUALLY THEN WE SHOULD TAKE THE AVERAGE OF THE MILK IN BOTH THE VESSELS.

                 20+60/2 = 40 LITRES

IF BOTH SHARED THE MILK EQUALLY THEN THE AMOUNT OF MILK IN EACH VESSEL IS 40 LITRES.
