Answer:

Total Duration required = 17 hrs

Explanation:

at the end of first hour, b has 10 litres and at the end of second hour, it has 20

tank b is 1/16 filled after 13 hours

after 14th hour it is filled = 2 * 1/16 = 1/8

after 15th hr it is filled = 2 * 1/8 = 1/4

after 16th hr it is filled = 2* 1/4 = 1/2

after 17th hr it is filled = 2 * 1/2 = 1

Total Duration required = 17 hrs
