Hey people,

There are few differences in mitochondria and plastids:

  • mitochondria are found in all eukaryotic cells while plastids are found in plant cells and few prokaryotes.
  • mitochondria helps in respiration and  plastids help in photosynthesis.

If there are no differences, then all eukaryotic cells would perform photosynthesis alongside respiration.

And the prokaryotes would also perform the aerobic respiration.

Hope, this helps :)

Mark as branliest, if it does.

→ It is found in plant cells and animal cells.

→ It don't have pigments.

→ It have their own DNA.

→ It have no further types.

→ It's color doesn't vary.

→ ATP is produced in it.

\huge\textbf{Plastids :}

→ Found in algae and plant cells.

→ Colourful p present in it.

→ Only Chloroplast contain it's own DNA.

→ Leucoplast, Chloroplast and Chromoplast are it's types.

→ It's color depend upon it's pigment.

→ No ATP is produced in it.
