Answer:
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to report the problems we have been experiencing with your public transportation services in Victoria Island, for the past one month.
The major issue is that the current number of buses plying our routes are not enough. The vehicles were reduced from fifty to twenty, causing so many people to have to wait for the motors to do a number of trips before they can join one. As a result, many people arrive at their destinations, later than planned. Also, some of the vehicles, because of poor maintenance, break down before they could complete their first trip, leaving many people stranded.
As a result of lateness to work, many people have been served warning letters and a few others relieved of their duties. Also, traders from neighboring cities have shunned our markets because of the disappointments they have experienced with our transport system, and the consequence is a hike in the price of goods and services.
In view of these challenges, I would suggest that you replace the motors with at least, thirty new ones. Also, I will advise that your company retrains your current set of mechanics and hire new competent hands to compliment the old ones.
I believe that if these suggestions are implemented, it will help arrest these problems.
Yours faithfully,
Umunna Ebube.
