There is a 50% chance that the fed will cut the interest rate tomorrow. on any given day there is a 67% chance that DIJA will increase. on the days the fed cuts interest rate, the probability the DIJA will go up is 90%. what is the probability that tomorrow the Fed will cut the interest rate or the DIJA will go up?

hsdxo: p(rate cut)=0.5
p(DIJA inc)=0.67
p(dija inc and rate cut)=0.90
so, joint probability= 0.50*0.90=0.45
p(rate cut or dija inc)=0.67 - 0.9*0.5 + 0.5 = 0.72

Step-by-step explanation:

A ball is thrown vertically upwards with a velocity fo 10 m/s. if g is

10m/s2

, then calculate

(i) height it reaches

(ii) time taken to return back
