Nowadays as aggregate demand over the world rises, the scarcity of resources also rises. This isn't a problem of just the urban areas, but also for the rural areas. There is an acute shortage of water in multiple places.
Water is a basic necessity for the daily functioning of everyday lives, businesses, etc.
There exists many villages which face financial issues due to lack of water. One such village which I belong to has a similar problem. The scarcity of water makes it very difficult for people to earn their livelihood. In our villages most people do farming. Due to no water, the yield tends to get destroyed when they aren't getting enough water and that too at the correct time. When farmers are not able to grow, then as a result they aren't able to sell their produce either.
We need to come up with irrigation methods and water storage to help with the growing problem.
