There is a carpet 5 m long and 4 m wide. The
cost of the carpet is Rs. 205 per square metre.
a) Find the area of carpet in m².
b) Find the area in cm.
c) Find the cost of the given carpet.​

Length of the carpet = 5m Breadth of the carpet = 4m

SOMETHING YOU NEED TO KNOW Area of a rectangle = Length * Breadth Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth)

=> 4%5 => 20m?

Cost per square meter = 205 $

==> Cost \:  for  \: 20 \:  \:  meters = 20 « 205
