Time taken by both: LCM of 18 and 12
12 = 2 x 2 x 3 = 2^2 x 3
18 = 2 x 3 x 3 = 2 x 3^2
LCM(18 AND 12) = Product of greatest power of each prime factor.
= 2^2 x 3^2
=4 x 9= 36
therefore, after 36 minutes, sonia and ravi will meet again at the starting point.
