There is a circular path in a garden. Sheela takes 6 minutes to drive one round of it, while Ravi takes 18 minutes for the same. Suppose they both start at the same point and at the same time, and go in the same direction. After how many minutes will they meet again at the starting point?

Step-by-step explanation:

18 minutes after starting, Ravi would be at the starting point after completing 1 round, and Sheela would also be at the starting point after completing 3 rounds ( 6 × 3 = 18 ).

We can also find this by figuring out the LCM of 8 and 16.

LCM of 6 and 18 = 18

so, Sheela and Ravi will meet again after 18 minutes.
