There is a circular pond and a Footpath Run along its boundary. A man walk around it exactly once , keeping close to the edge. If his step is 66 cm long and he takes exactly 400 steps to go around the pond , what is the diameter of the pond ?

Length of each step of the man is 66cm
he took exactly 400 stamps

thus the circumference of the pond is 66 × 400 = 26400 cm

thus the circumference of the circle is 2πr
26400 = 2 × 22/7 × r
r = (26400 × 7) / (22 × 2)
r = 4200cm

d = 2r
d = 2(4200)
d = 8400cm

thus the diameter of the pond is 8400cm
