Hence, the circumference of the pond =55×400

=22,000cm

=10022000

=220m.

circumference of the pond is 220m.

circumference of the circular pond =2πr

220=2πr

⇒220=2×722×r

⇒r=220×447

⇒r=35m

∴ Diameter of the pond =2×r

=2×35
