Let us consider radius of sphere---"r"


We know, volume of sphere = 4/3πr³

We know, volume of cylinder= πr²h, if "h" is the height of the cylinder.

Therefore, ratio of volume of sphere: volume of cylinder

= (4/3πr³)/ (πr²h)

=  4πr³/3πr²h

=4r/3h

Vice-versa, ratio of volume of cylinder: ratio of sphere = 3h/4r
