volume of cylinderical tank = 2205 ml

a pipe is connected to the tank and fill water in it at speed of 220ml /minute. and the tap is connected to the tank which is open at all time and speed of flow of water from tank is 24ml/minute

Let time taken to fill up the tank is T minutes

the tap is open at all time during process.

so, volume of water from tank = 24T

and volume of water fill in tank after T time =
220T ml

so, 220T - 24T = 2205

or, 196T = 2205

hence, T =11.25 minutes = 11.25 × 60 =675 sec

hence, 675 sec time taken to fill the tank.
