The Nutritional Way of Climbing the Fitness Ladder

Health is wealth as all the wealth of any sort that one wants to possess can be had only if one is healthy! Suppose a man wishes to enjoy his life to the maximum. For this he requires abundant supply of resources such as, money, luxuries, company of like-minded friends, etc. Suppose he has all of these except health. Do you think he will be able to enjoy life? No, not at all! Life's luxuries can only be enjoyed only when one is healthy. A diseased millionaire will not be able to enjoy half as much as healthy labourer who just manages to make both ends meet. As life's delicacies can only be relished in pure health; not in abundant resources.

Balanced, nutritious diet and proper exercise regimen are two most essential components for ensuring health and fitness. Virginia Woolf has rightly said: ‘One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.’ It is a well-established truth that balanced diet is the first prerequisite for a healthy and happy life; and health is the first prerequisite for a successful life. Only a country whose people are healthy can dream, dare and achieve national goals of growth, development and prosperity. Only a balanced diet can provide all the essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals, fibers, etc to keep the metabolism of the body working optimally.

To further reinforce the effects of balanced diet, proper work-out regimen should be followed. The most natural way to keep healthy is physical exercise. John F. Kennedy said, “Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity.” Exercise helps in preventing excess weight gain or maintaining weight loss. When you engage in physical activity, you burn calories. Exercise keeps your blood flowing smoothly, which decreases your risk of cardiovascular diseases. In fact, regular physical activity can help you prevent or manage a wide range of health problems and concerns, including stroke, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, depression, and certain types of cancer, arthritis and falls. Exercise is not beneficial for body only, but for mind and emotions also. Exercising regularly for 30-45 minutes daily has great effects on the health of your brain. It also helps to improve mood.

In conclusion it can be said that with the proper combination of healthy, balanced diet and physical exercise routine one can easily climb the fitness ladder.

There's a saying that "Man spends his Health to gain Wealth, and then spend Wealth again to regain the Health". Did we ever realize that nothing i more true than this fact. Fitness is not just an healthy body, but also an healthy mind, which draws positivism towards it. Not many people understand the value of discipline, that is the result of a hard earned fitness enthusiast. The most important of all thoughts is that, there is so much worth witnessing in this entire world, that an entire lifetime is short to cover it up.A healthy lifestyle grants us that liberty to be ourselves and explore, when we are physically and mentally fit.
Regular exercise and healthy eating is an add on to all such factors. The feel good factor arises when it shines with the rising sun. The afternoon glimpse is very archaic. In the world of Diet Coke and Pizzas, there are a lot of advantages to stick to nutritional and clean & safe food.
A brilliant example of the same can be seen, when the entire world has dramatically switched to our ancient ways of healthy living "Yoga". When we lull about what's there abroad, and talk about their open mindedness, we shut our eyes towards the fact, that the healthy lifestyle of Indians are a growing trend all over.

Hence, it is for us to decide whether to stand out in the crowd or be the lamb following the herd.
