Concept: To find out the correct answer to the puzzle

Given: A puzzle and a few hints

Find: The correct option from all the other options

Solution: The correct answer is C is "fourth to the left" of J.

The total number of males is 3.

On the other hand, the total number of females is 5.

As we are told that no two males are immediate neighbours here

H is sitting on right side of his wife on second position.

F is on the right side of H and is third.

I is on right side to her husband and is sitting on second place.

G is a male and J is not immediate neighbour of I.

E sits second to the right of D.

Hence, puzzle is solved and we know the answer

Answer:

Who among the following does not belong to that group?

(a)F

(b)E

(c)D

(d)J

(e)C

'C' does not belong to that group.

Explanation:

GIVEN THAT:

  • H sits second to the right of his wife.
  • F sits third to the right of H.
  • I sit second to the right of her husband C.
  • C is not an immediate neighbor of H's wife.
  • G is a male and J is not an immediate neighbor of I.
  • E sits second to the right of D.

AFTER APPLYING ALL THESE AND MAKING A CIRCULAR ARRANGEMENT WE CONCLUDED THAT "C" DOES NOT BELONG TO THAT GROUP.
