it's a great question and I am very fortunate and privileged that I am answering this question it is not because physics had always a thing of interest to me but because there are some people who are relating the language with science and that is the thing which I love the most so you question was like this that there is a famous thing in Hindi a sword cannot replace a needle give reason for this thing in the light of Physics and I would like to answer it like it we have in physics of formula that the the pressure is inversely proportional to the area in contact for example if you want to stitch a cloth and you will use a needle because the surface area that is the tip of the needle is very small and that of a sword is large and hence the force would be large which will tear the cloth but in case of needle the area is small and the pressure would be large

Hey mate....
here's ur answer....
According to Physics the explanation of... A sword cannot replace a needle goes like this....
As when stitching is done we can't use a sword for stitching as the pressure applied on sword is more and therefore it will tear up the cloth..So a needle requires a little pressure to Peirce the cloth.
Hope it helps ❤️
