Let distance from ladder to window be X.

Distance from ground to window = 8m

Distance from wall to firemen's foot = 6m

With pythogoras theorem :-

(8m)²+(6m)²=X²

64cm²+36cm² = X²

100cm²= X²

100cm²= X
