there is a frog inside a well 40 m deep . The frog jumps 3 m high and falls back 2 m . In how many jumps will it come out of the well with solution

as the frog jumps 3 m high and falls back 2 m , means the frog is jumping 1 m .
but the last jump would be of 3 m.
which means that at 37 m high , when he jumps he will be out .
therefore the total jumps taken by him is 37+ 1= 38.
