➡Let the length of hall be x and the breadth of the hall be y

According to the statement,

x=7y

As hall is rectangular in shape,

Area of hall = l*b

343m^2 = x*y

343 = 7y * y

343 =8y

y= 343/8

y= 42.7

The breadth is 42.7m

length=x=7y

=42.7*7

= 298.9m

the length is 298.9m

ɢɪᴠᴇɴ :-

★ Length of hall is 7 times of The width.

★ Area of the floor = 343 m²

★ Length & Width

sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ:-

Let the width & length of hall be x & 7x respectively.

Area of the rectangle hall

343 = x * 7x

➱ x ² = 49

➱ x = 7 m

Hence,

Width will be , x = 7m

&

Length will be , 7x = 49 m
