According to the statement,

x=7y

As hall is rectangular in shape,

Area of hall = l*b

343m^2 = x*y

343 = 7y * y

343 =8y

y= 343/8

y= 42.7

The breadth is 42.7m

length=x=7y

=42.7*7

= 298.9m

the length is 298.9m
