There is a hot plate on a stove and a cube of ice is placed on it.Whatdo you think will happen

Follows equilibrium! Heat energy will flow from plate to the ice ,and ice will melt ,and if still energy remains in the plate ,the water formed from ice may evaporate ! If still energy remains in the plate .....it will flow unless satisfies equilibrium! But if at any stage(stove isn't providing heat).ice may still get energy from surrounding! And may end up being liquid at room temperature state ! And also the plate will cool down!
