God created abundant water resources for man to use wisely; however, man misused this wonder resource. He used it to dump effluents, garbage, and other toxic substances.  The clean drinking water has been exploited by people across the world. As a result the ground water and other potable water have drastically become less.

Water is the most basic element needed in agriculture, industry, and general life. Its scarcity has affected each and every living form. Farmers have been affected the most with this water scarcity. Their crops have become dried; their lands have become dry. Their cattle are dying of thirst. It appears the very life will dry up.

It is our responsibility to conserve this life nectar. It is possible only through by changing our outlook towards this wonderful natural resource. The existing water resources must be preserved and conserved by keeping them on top priority. We must ensure there is no pollution of water bodies by dumping any waste such as, sewage, effluents, and other toxic substances. The people and the government must ensure installation of effluents and smoke treatment plants at industrial, garbage, and sewage units. A healthy forest cover should be built across and around the cities. These are just a few of the basic things that can really ensure water security in future.
