There is a ladder with 100 steps .one of the steps is the highest step a balloon can be dropped from without bursting .if a balloon is dropped from above step it will burst .if it is dropped from that step or below ,it will will be completely undamaged and you can drop the balloon again.how will you find the step with 2 balloons and minimum drops

To find : the step with 2 balloons and minimum drops

Solution:

1st Drop at  15th Step

if it burst

then start from 2nd to 14th  Hence Maximum  14 Drops

if it Does not burst

then Drop at 28th if  it burst

then from 16th to 27th  hence , Maximum  14 drops

if it does not burst

then Drop at 40 if it burst  

then  from 29 to 39  hence Maximum  14 drops

if it does not burst

then Drop at 51 if it burst  

then  from 41 to 50  hence Maximum  14 drops

if it does not burst

then Drop at 61 if it burst  

then  from 52 to 60  hence Maximum  14 drops

if it does not burst

then Drop at 70  if it burst  

then  from 62 to 69  hence Maximum  14 drops

if it does not burst

then Drop at 78  if it burst  

then  from 71 to 77  hence Maximum  14 drops

if it does not burst

then Drop at 85  if it burst  

then  from 79 to 84  hence Maximum  14 drops

if it does not burst

then Drop at 91  if it burst  

then  from 86 to 90  hence Maximum  14 drops

if it does not burst

then Drop at 96  if it burst  

then  from 92 to 95  hence Maximum  14 drops

Then one by one Drop   till Burst

Hence maximum can be 14 Drops  required   which would be minimum drop required
