There is a light in another room that can be in one of the three states: Blue, Red or Off. In your room you have two buttons numbered that controls the state of the light. The state changes as follows
1.If you press button 1 then the light changes to the next state(off->Blue->Red->off) i.e If the light is off then changes to Blue and so on.
2.If you press button 2 while the light is blue or red then state of the light will not change.
3.If you press button 2 while the light is off the light will change to blue.
You want to make sure that the light is off and you don't know what state of l
light is currently in .The shortest sequence of button presses that will guarantee that the light will be off is?

(A) 7
(B) 4
(C) 6
(D) 5
