Fossils are the remains of organisms formed over a millions of years. Evolutionary relationship tells us how closely two organisms are related in evolutionary tree.We ananalyze either the organ structure or the function of an organism and try to compare it with another orgainsm in order to find how closely they are related.

Fossils are remains or impressions of past organisms that are foun d in the rocks. It help on classification. More the two organism closely related more they have a common character. More characteristics they have in common more recently they have an ancestor .

The study of fossila is useful in knowing about the species whicheck are no longer alive.they are helpful in forming sequence of organisms in the pathway of evolution.
