There are infinite numbers. For example, I'll give you one:

let \: x =  \sqrt[4]{3}

Then

 {x}^{2}  =  \sqrt[4]{3^{2} }  =   {3}^{2 \times  \frac{1}{4} }    =  {3}^{ \frac{1}{2} }  =  \sqrt{3}

which is an irrational number.

and

 {x}^{4}  =  \sqrt[4]{3 ^{4} }  =  {3}^{4 \times  \frac{1}{4} }  = 3

which is rational number.
