there is a playground of dimensions 60 m * 45 m. in two corners of the ground two pits each of dimensions 4m * 3m * 2m are dug and the mud is spread all over the ground uniformly. Find the approximate height of the layer of mud spread​

Answer:Area of ground = 50×30=1500m^2.

Volume of pit dug =4×5×1=20 m^3.

Area of pit=20m^2.

20m^3 of mud is spread over an area of (1500m^2.-20m^2)=1480m^2.

Volume =Area × height

Hence,

20m^3=1480 m^2×height

Therefore, height = (20/1480)×1000 mm

=13.5135mm
