A and B run a kilometer and A wins by 25 Seconds.

A's time = x sec

B's time = x + 25 sec

When B and C run the same distance B wins by 30 seconds.

We know B's time (from above) = x + 25 sec

If C loses by 30 sec, C's time = x + 55 sec

A = x

B = x + 25

C = x + 55

A and C run a kilometer and A wins by 275m.

It takes C 55 sec to run 275m.

275/55 = 5 ... C runs 5m/sec; = 1 km in 200 sec (3 min 20 sec)

C = x + 55; C = 200 sec,

200 sec = x + 55

145 sec = x

B = x + 25; = 170 sec (2 min 50 sec)

A = x sec = 145 sec (2 min 25 sec)
