Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

75 cm =2(22+b)

75cm =44+2b

75cm-44cm=2b

31cm=2b

31/2=b

15.5=b

area of rectangle =l×b

=22×15.5

=341cm sq.

Given : Length = 22 cm and Perimeter = 75 cm

Let Breadth be b.

We know that Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (l+b)

So, 75 = 2 ( 22+b)

75 = 44 + 2b

75 - 44 = 2b

31 = 2b

31/2 = b

15.5 cm = b

Now, area of rectangle = l x b

= 22 x 15.5

= 341 cm square
