Let the length and breadth's common ratio: x in metre

∴ Length :11x and Breadth :4x

Perimeter ⇒2(l+b)

=2(11x+4x)=30x

As per the question:

Cost of fencing plot at rate of Rs.100 per meter is Rs.75000

∴100× Perimeter =75000

3000x=75000

x=25

Length =11×x=11×25=275 m

Breadth =4x,=4×25=100 m

Step-by-step explanation:

First we do the ratio which was given that 13:7

we will take 13x + 7x

so the perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

= 2 (13x +7x)

= 2 ×20x

= 40x

at the rate of rupees 50 = 40x ×50

= 2000x

there having a rupees 40000 to fence the plot

= 40000÷ 2000x

= x = 20

7x = 7 × 20 = 140 m

13x = 13×20 = 260 m

therefore, the dimensions of plot are 140 m and 260 m
