There is an inverse relationship between the number of images and the angle between the mirror

Explanation:

The number of images formed as two mirrors are placed at an angle of x degrees to each other ,

the formula used is as follows -

( ( 360/x ) - 1 ) .

Assuming , the value of x = 90°

The number of images formed is equal to ( 360 / 90 ) - 1 = 4 – 1 = 3.

And ,

x = 45°  ,

The number of images formed is equal to ( 360 / 45 ) - 1 = 8 – 1 = 7.

Hence ,

the relationship between the number of images and angle between the mirrors is inverse ,

as the angle increases , the images reduces and

As the angles decreases , the images increases .
