Let the no. be X.

Then x will be in the form of 6n+3, where n is any whole no. Eg. if n=0; X=3, n=1; X=9 …..and so on. And each no. When divided by 6 gives a reminder 3.

X^2=(6n+3)^2

X^2=(6n)^2+ (3)^2 +(2×6n×3)

Now 6n^2 is divisible by 6, reminder when divided by 6 is 0

3^2 when divided by 6 gives reminder 3.

2×6n×3 is divisible by 6, reminder when divided by 6 is 0

Adding all the reminders 0+3+0=3.

Hence, Ans= 3.
