There is a sensor to detect the humidity level of the soil. It indicates logical state 1 for
appropriate humidity and 0 for a humidity level lower than the standard. Water should only be
supplied every 6 hours to this crop. There is a timer which runs and sets itself as logical state
‘High’ when the timer passes 6 hours after the last supply of water. The water supply does not
get activated even if the humidity is low, if the timer has not passed 6 hours. Once the timer
passes 6 hours and if humidity is low, water supply is activated.
There is a manual switch to turn the water supply on in cases where the humidity is too low
and the timer hasn’t passed 6 hours limit. The manual switch is considered as logical value 1 when
state is ON.
In a case where water supply from the main line is interrupted, a red light flashes as an
indicator.
(i) Draw up a truth table for the function of the water supply to the crop considering the
state of water flowing to the crop as logical level 1.
