Given : there is a slide in a park which is to be painted by 10students with white colour written as keep distance

slides of triangular park is 15cms 11cms and 6cms respectively

cost of painting is rs 10/ cm²

To Find :  area of park

amount will each student have bear

Solution:

Slide sides 15 cm , 11 cm and 6 cm

s = (15 + 11 + 6)/2  = 16

Area = √s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)

= √16(16 - 15)(16 - 11)(16 - 6)

= √16(1)(5)*10)

= √4²(1)(5)5 * 2)

= 4 * 5 √2

= 20√2  cm²

area of park = 20√2  cm²

cost of painting is rs 10/ cm²

Total cost =  20√2  * 10

Number of students = 10

Hence each student have to bear  = 20√2  * 10 / 10 = 20√2  Rs

= 28.28 Rs
