1:1 as the volumes are same so side will be x/2 which will be cancelled out when we find ratio

akhilrockzzz: Wrong answer
divyanshbajaj11: Let the side of cube = x
Then TSA of cube = 6x2

When the cube is cut into two cuboids of equal volumes then
length = x/2
width = x
height=h
TSA of cuboid = 2(lb+bh+hl) =
2
(
x
2
2
+
x
2
+
x
2
2
)
=

2
(
2
x
2
)
=
4
x
2

TSA of cuboid : TSA of cube = 4x2:6x2= 2:3
divyanshbajaj11: Is this the right answer
vanshika24: Answer will be 3:2
