The general public should recognize that books have a greater educational and entertainment value than movies.

Terms:
Entertainment: The act of diverting, amusing
Educational: To develop the mind

I find books much more educational and rewarding. There are many reasons for this:

-Books occupy you for a far longer period of time, while a movie only lasts for 2 hours or so. Books can last days, or weeks.
-They improve your vocabulary and writing
-You can carry a book around with you and read it anytime, while you can't just sit down anywhere and start watching a movie (excluding ipods or stuff like that)


I love movies but I always found books to be most rewarding
