In the above Question, the following information is given -

There is a tent in conical shape.

The slant height of the tent is 14m.

The curved surface area of cone is 308 m² .

To find -

Find the base area of the tent.

Solution -

We know that , in a tent , the required curved surface area is equal to π r l .

Here , r is the radii and l is the slant height .

Here , l = 14 m

Thus,

14 π r = 308

=> 44 r = 308

=> r = 7 m .

Base area of the tent -

=> π r²

=> 22 × 7

=> 154 m²

This is the required answer.
