let the digit of a two digit number be x and y

x+y=7

y=7-x

so, the number is 10x+7-x

10x+7-x=12x-2

7+2=12x-10x+x

9=3x

3x=9

x=3

So the number will be,

10x+7-x=10*3+7-3

=34

Hope it helps.....
