10 sec to reach 1st floor
therefore, 10×12 for reaching 12th floor
total travelling time 10×12×2 because , time need to go up equal to time need to come down. =240 sec
now , lift stop 1 St floor for 30 sec
lift stop at all twelve floor is 30×12
lift also stop while coming down 30×12×2
=720
total time taken 240+720=960sec
therefore, 10×12 for reaching 12th floor
