A1 = (100 x 100) cm² and

A2 = (103 x 103) cm².

Difference in Area:

(A2² - A1²) = [(103)² - (100)²]

= (103 + 100) x (103 - 100)

= 203*3

= 609

Percentage error = (609x100)/(100*100) = 6.09%
