Question

There is an extract the voice of thunder declares my arrival;.. Under the apraised wings of death. And the question from this extract is what does the poet compare the cycle of rain life,growth and death to?

The poem describe its birth as the sigh of the sea(evaporation) and it comes from the heaven which seems to be plucked from the crown of Ishtar means it shines like that when it falls (it rains) and while coming it shine. It cures the ailment of cloud while coming down and fulfill the thirst of land by adorning it. And on his death the drops of rain is personified as tears of heaven.
