a) Depletion of resources at a faster rate.
b) Accumulation of resources in the hands of few creating a wide gap between the poors and rich.
c) Increase in global crisis like ozone layer depletion, global warming, pollution and land degradation.
d) Arid soils are generally sandy in texture and saline.
e) The regur soils are made up of clayey material. They can hold moisture and are rich in soil nutrients such as calcium carbonate, magnesium, potash and lime.
