     There is extreme heat in desert. Yes, of course. In desert there is very less water by which no plant and mostly animal can't sustain their life. There is very dryness and extreme heat in deserts.

      Deserts have extreme heat i.e. high temperatures at day time than that of night time. There are no plants in desert to absorb heat as in the form of energy, that heat from sun is directly spread on desert over the long distances.
