Actually, no movement can survive without public support. When someone starts a movement, it is usually done to rebel against something and improve the present condition.
If it is a reasonable movement, it will definitely be supported by the public. If it does not have any legitimate grouds, public will not support it and it will fail in its initial stage itself.
