There is no real ' progress' in the idea o evolution. Explain.

It is so because the organisms are not upgraded from a lower form to higher form.Through evolution, the new species are not anyway better than the old species. Evolution only gives rise to complex body designs.

Evolution should not be equated with progress. There is no real progress in the idea of evolution. Its simply the generation of diversity and environmental factors. The only progressive trend in evolution seems to be that more and more complex body designs have emerged over time. If older designs are inefficient, so many of the older and simpler designs still survive. Human beings are not the pinnacle of evolution but another species in the teeming spectrum of life.
